Company Overview:

My client is a leading international construction contractor specializing in mission-critical construction. With comprehensive expertise across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning, the company delivers exceptional results on complex, high-stakes projects. As part of its continued growth, my client is seeking a seasoned Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to oversee commercial data center construction initiatives.

Position Summary:

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading cross-functional project teams, managing schedules and budgets, and ensuring quality execution throughout all phases of construction. This individual plays a critical role in delivering projects efficiently, safely, and profitably, while promoting collaboration across all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees on-site personnel, including engineers, superintendents, and administrators.
  • Manages budgets, project schedules, and resource planning across multiple sites.
  • Coordinates vendor and supplier relationships; supports BIM processes.
  • Leads safety efforts and conducts regular compliance audits.
  • Mentors Assistant Project Managers and fosters a high-performance team culture.
  • Tracks KPIs and applies data-driven decisions to maintain project momentum.
  • Identifies project risks and implements mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years in commercial construction; greenfield experience preferred.
  • At least 3 years in a project management role on large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of CSI codes, construction contracts, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and construction management tools (e.g., ProCore, Primavera P6).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
