Lead Estimation Engineer – Civil 

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia 

Job Summary:

A Qatari top-tier Grade A EPC main contractor have recently established a branch in Saudi Arabia and now require a Lead Estimation Engineer to help tender for large-scale civil projects across KSA.

The role is based in our client’s Riyadh office, 5 days-a-week, and reports into the KSA Estimation Manager. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all estimation tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil projects, including buildings (residential & commercial, EPC and governmental). 
• Review project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to determine project requirements and scope of work.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other departments to ensure estimates are aligned with project goals and timelines.
• Conduct site visits as needed to assess existing conditions, risks, and potential cost impacts.
• Review bids from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with project specifications.
• Analyze and monitor project progress, providing necessary adjustments to estimates as required.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and methods to optimize cost estimation strategies.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and clients, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in cost estimation for civil projects (12 to 15 years and KSA experienced candidates are preferred).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Understanding in the Office suite, AutoCAD and CCS (CANDY) software.
